Victory City AZ is a church marked by bold worship, prophetic flow, and Spirit-led encounters. As a Worship Team Drummer, you’ll carry the pulse of the worship experience—setting the rhythm that moves the room, anchors the team, and releases the sound of heaven.

This isn’t just about keeping time—it’s about releasing power. You’ll serve as both a skilled musician and a spiritual catalyst, helping create atmospheres where chains break, faith rises, and God moves.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Demo video (3 mins. max) and Audition required
  • Play drums during Sunday services, rehearsals, and special events
  • Support the Worship Leader and band in executing Spirit-led worship sets
  • Flow prophetically during spontaneous moments, transitions, and altar calls
  • Maintain tight rhythm, dynamic control, and spiritual sensitivity
  • Collaborate with vocalists, musicians, and media team for seamless execution
  • Participate in rehearsals, team development, and spiritual formation
  • Model humility, preparation, and a lifestyle of worship
  • Uphold the spiritual and cultural standards of Victory City AZ
Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates should demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in drumming with the ability to play across gospel, contemporary, and spontaneous styles
  • Sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and the ability to flow prophetically
  • Strong understanding of rhythm, dynamics, and musical transitions
  • Ability to follow cues from the Worship Leads, Worship Lead Assistant, and adapt in real time
  • Commitment to excellence, punctuality, and preparation
  • Positive attitude, teachable spirit, and team-first mindset
  • Alignment with Victory City AZ’s mission, values, and worship culture

Additional Requirements:

  • Must pass a background check
  • Must be an existing member of Victory City AZ or become a new member
  • Must be available for Sunday services, rehearsals, and team development sessions
  • Must commit to regular musical practice and spiritual growth
