Victory City AZ is a church where worship breaks barriers and ushers in the presence of God. As a Worship Team Guitarist, you’ll carry the melodic and rhythmic layers that shape the sound of revival. Whether through soaring leads or ambient textures, your playing will help create atmospheres where heaven invades earth.

This role is for those who understand that every chord carries weight. You’ll serve as both a skilled musician and a prophetic vessel—partnering with the Worship Leader to release sounds that stir hearts and shift atmospheres.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Demo video (3 mins. max) and Audition required
  • Play electric and/or acoustic guitar during Sunday services, rehearsals, and special events
  • Support the Worship Leader in executing Spirit-led worship sets and transitions
  • Flow prophetically during spontaneous moments, altar calls, and prayer segments
  • Create dynamic textures, lead lines, and rhythmic support that enhance worship
  • Collaborate with vocalists, band members, and media team for seamless execution
  • Participate in rehearsals, team development, and spiritual formation
  • Model humility, preparation, and a lifestyle of worship
  • Uphold the spiritual and cultural standards of Victory City AZ
Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates should demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in electric and/or acoustic guitar with ability to play by ear and/or read charts
  • Sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and ability to flow prophetically
  • Experience in gospel, contemporary, and spontaneous worship styles
  • Strong understanding of musical dynamics, transitions, and service flow
  • Ability to collaborate with vocalists, band members, and Worship Leader
  • Commitment to excellence, punctuality, and preparation
  • Alignment with Victory City AZ’s mission, values, and worship culture

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be an existing member of Victory City AZ or become a new member
  • Must be available for Sunday services, weekday services, events, rehearsals, and team development sessions
  • Must commit to regular musical practice and spiritual growth
