At Victory City AZ, we believe that sound and light aren’t just technical elements—they’re tools of transformation. The Media Team is entrusted with creating immersive worship environments where the presence of God is felt, the message is clear, and distractions fade away.

As part of the Lights and Sound crew, you’ll steward the behind-the-scenes flow that brings clarity, creativity, and spiritual impact to every service. You won’t just run equipment—you’ll help set the stage for breakthrough.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Operate soundboards, microphones, and audio equipment during services and events
  • Manage lighting systems to enhance worship, preaching, and altar ministry
  • Conduct pre-service sound checks and lighting cues with worship and preaching teams
  • Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and calmly
  • Collaborate with worship leaders, pastors, and media creatives to ensure excellence
  • Maintain equipment and support setup/teardown as needed
  • Participate in team prayer, planning, and spiritual alignment
  • Reflect the culture, excellence, and Spirit-led creativity of Victory City AZ
Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates should demonstrate:

  • Basic to advanced knowledge of sound and lighting systems (training available)
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and adapt to live service flow
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
  • Collaborative spirit and willingness to learn and grow
  • Sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and understanding of worship dynamics
  • Alignment with Victory City AZ’s mission, values, and worship culture
  • Experience with ProPresenter, digital soundboards, or lighting software (preferred but not required)

Additional Requirements:

  • Background Check
  • Must be an existing member of Victory City AZ or become a new member
  • Must be available for Sunday services, weeknight services, rehearsals, and occasional special events
  • Must commit to ongoing skill development and spiritual growth
Experience
  • 1 years media/technology/audio (min.)
  • Can operate presentation software (training provided)
  • Is tech-savvy
Education
  • High School Diploma
  • Certification (optional)
  • Bachelors Degree (preferred)
