This isn’t just about presence—it’s about protection with purpose. As a Security team member, you’ll serve with vigilance, humility, and spiritual awareness, ensuring that every person who walks through our doors feels secure and supported.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Monitor entrances, exits, parking, and key areas during services and events
  • Create, implement, and collaborate on an emergency security plan
  • Provide a visible, reassuring presence that promotes peace and order
  • Respond calmly and appropriately to emergencies or disruptions
  • Assist with crowd flow, parking, and directional support as needed
  • Collaborate with Greeters and ministry leaders to ensure smooth operations
  • Protect children’s ministry areas and enforce safety protocols
  • Participate in pre-service briefings, prayer, and spiritual alignment
  • Uphold Victory City AZ’s standards of excellence, honor, and hospitality
Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates should demonstrate:

  • A calm, confident demeanor with strong situational awareness
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and respond with wisdom
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist as needed
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and discernment in dynamic environments
  • Alignment with Victory City AZ’s mission, values, and worship culture
  • Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or safety roles (preferred but not required)

Additional Requirements:

  • Background Check
  • Must be an existing member of Victory City AZ or become a new member
  • Must be available for Sunday services, weeknight services, and events
  • Must commit to ongoing spiritual growth and team development
