Victory City AZ is a movement of restoration, purpose activation, and elevated living—and the Executive Pastor (initial volunteer) plays a vital role in architecting the systems, culture, and support structures that sustain that movement. This role is for a strategic leader and spiritual builder who carries a passion for governance, team empowerment, and operational excellence rooted in faith.

The Executive Pastor will oversee ministry operations, support volunteer teams, and serve as the central point of contact for supplies, logistics, and pastoral support—ensuring that every person who serves at Victory City AZ is equipped, empowered, and activated to build the Kingdom with joy and excellence.

This isn’t just administration—it’s transformational leadership.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:
• Steward the church’s strategic vision through operational planning, governance, and ministry alignment
• Serve as the go-to leader for ministry teams and volunteers—providing supplies, support, and spiritual encouragement
• Oversee church systems including finance, facilities, legal compliance, and resource management
• Lead volunteer onboarding and activation processes that reflect Victory City AZ’s culture and mission
• Partner with pastoral and ministry leaders to ensure seamless execution of services, events, and outreach
• Build and maintain infrastructure that supports sustainable growth and spiritual impact
• Provide pastoral care and mentorship to team leads, volunteers, and emerging leaders
• Ensure all environments reflect excellence, safety, and spiritual integrity
• Support the Senior Pastor with strategic planning, staff development, and ministry execution
• Champion a culture of collaboration, honor, and Spirit-led innovation across all departments

Qualifications

To serve as Executive Pastor (initial volunteer), candidates should demonstrate:
• Ordination and ministerial credentials recognized by a reputable Christian organization
• Proven experience in church operations, team leadership, and strategic planning
• Strong understanding of governance, budgeting, and ministry systems
• Passion for empowering volunteers and building healthy, Spirit-led teams
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead with both spiritual authority and administrative precision
• Alignment with Victory City AZ’s prophetic culture, values, and mission
• Sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and commitment to ongoing spiritual growth

 

Additional Requirements
• Background Check
• Must be a member of Victory City AZ or become a new member
• Must be available for Sunday services, weeknights, events, and team support
• Must commit to collaborative leadership and team unity

Experience

• 3 years Pastoral or Ministry Leadership (min.)
• 3 years Operational or Administrative Leadership

Education
  • Ordination Credentials
  • Master's Degree preferred
