Victory City AZ is a church marked by bold worship, prophetic flow, and Spirit-led encounters. We’re seeking a passionate, anointed Worship Leader to help steward the sound of revival and lead our community into deeper intimacy with God.
This isn’t just music—it’s ministry. You’ll cultivate a worship culture that’s authentic, powerful, and aligned with the heartbeat of heaven. From team development to set planning, you’ll carry both the spiritual weight and creative excellence needed to lead others into transformational worship.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
- Demo video (3 mins. max) and Audition required
- Lead worship during Sunday services, special gatherings, and events
- Build and disciple a team of vocalists and musicians who serve with skill and surrender
- Plan weekly worship sets in alignment with sermon themes and spiritual flow
- Facilitate rehearsals, vocal training, and spiritual development for team members
- Collaborate with pastors and media team to ensure seamless service execution
- Introduce new songs, prophetic moments, and spontaneous worship as led by the Spirit
- Maintain excellence in sound, stage presence, and spiritual atmosphere
- Model humility, leadership, and a lifestyle of worship both on and off the platform
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, candidates should demonstrate:
- Strong vocal and/or instrumental ability with experience leading worship; reading music (potentially creating original music for VC)
- Deep personal relationship with Christ and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit
- Ability to lead teams with grace, clarity, and spiritual authority
- Familiarity with worship software (e.g., Planning Center, Ableton, Multitracks)
- Understanding of diverse worship styles and prophetic flow
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to Victory City AZ’s culture, values, and spiritual DNA
Additional Requirements:
- Background Check
- Must be an existing member of Victory City AZ or become a new member.
- Must be available for Sunday services, rehearsals, midweek services, team meetings, midweek planning sessions, and team development sessions
- Must align with the mission, values, and spiritual culture of Victory City AZ
Experience
- 3 years Worship Leadership and Lead Vocalist (min.)
- Can read and write music
- Can arrange original songs
- Can play keyboard/organ (preferred)
Education
- High School Diploma
- Certification (optional)
- Bachelors Degree (preferred)
